DTI and Columbia gas (TCO) storage both reported 7 Bcf injection this past week. The two facilities that report on a weekly basis are between 61-63% full. Both facilities lag last years levels as seen in the chart below. For this upcoming report we are expecting a 20+ Bcf injection in the East, but this being offset by a large draw in the South Central Salts.

 

 

 

 

Today’s Fundamentals

Daily US natural gas production is estimated to be  89.7 Bcf/d this morning. Today’s estimated production is -1.9 Bcf/d to yesterday, and -2.52 Bcf/d to the 7D average.

Natural gas consumption is modelled to be 73.1 Bcf today,  -0.79 Bcf/d to yesterday, and -3.05 Bcf/d to the 7D average. US power burns are expected to be 37.6 Bcf today, and US ResComm usage is expected to be 8.1 Bcf.

Net LNG deliveries are expected to be 10.4 Bcf today.

Mexican exports are expected to be 7 Bcf today, and net Canadian imports are expected to be 4.9 Bcf today.

The storage outlook for the upcoming report is +21 Bcf today.
