Today’s Fundamentals
Daily US natural gas production is estimated to be 89.9 Bcf/d this morning. Today’s estimated production is -1.47 Bcf/d to yesterday, and -2.22 Bcf/d to the 7D average. This will likely revised higher, but still overall lower than where we were last week. The Northeast and Midcon/Rockies are the regions that are showing lower levels of dry gas production. The Northeast is likely pipeline maintenance related, but the Rockies could be related to natural decline from the region.
Natural gas consumption is modelled to be 72.5 Bcf today, -0.22 Bcf/d to yesterday, and -2.57 Bcf/d to the 7D average. US power burns are expected to be 37.2 Bcf today, and US ResComm usage is expected to be 7.9 Bcf.
Net LNG deliveries are expected to be 10.3 Bcf today. Cameron feedgas levels continue to remain low.
Mexican exports are expected to be 7.2 Bcf today, and net Canadian imports are expected to be 4.8 Bcf today.
The storage outlook for the upcoming report is +19 Bcf today.
