Today’s Fundamentals

Daily US natural gas production is estimated to be  96.7 Bcf/d this morning. Today’s estimated production is +0.46 Bcf/d to yesterday, and +0.31 Bcf/d to the 7D average. Northeast gas production strength continues with levels reaching 35.4 Bcf/d today.

Natural gas consumption is modelled to be 104.2 Bcf today,  -2.18 Bcf/d to yesterday, and +4.86 Bcf/d to the 7D average. US power burns are expected to be 30.7 Bcf today, and US ResComm usage is expected to be 41.1 Bcf.

Net LNG deliveries are expected to be 13 Bcf today. Sabine has been posting volumes above 5 Bcf/d this week which is 7% above its design capacity + 12% addition for onsite usage.

All the terminals are operating at strong levels this week to take advantage of the strong global prices spreads.

Mexican exports are expected to be 6.4 Bcf today, and net Canadian imports are expected to be 4.9 Bcf today.

The storage outlook for the upcoming report is -58 Bcf today.
