Today’s Fundamentals

Daily US natural gas production is estimated to be  95.8 Bcf/d this morning. Today’s estimated production is -0.07 Bcf/d to yesterday, and -0.08 Bcf/d to the 7D average.

Natural gas consumption is modelled to be 81.7 Bcf today,  -9.83 Bcf/d to yesterday, and -6.81 Bcf/d to the 7D average. US power burns are expected to be 27 Bcf today, and US ResComm usage is expected to be 24.8 Bcf. Total gas consumption is expected to remain low going forward as we enter the shoulder season. Both major forecasts are pointing to temps hovering around the 10Y normal for the next 15 days.

 

Net LNG deliveries are expected to be 12.1 Bcf today. Total deliveries were restated much lower yesterday with Freeport dropping to half its typical volume, and Sabine also much lower today. There is no know maintenance at this time causing issues at the terminal.

 

 

Mexican exports are expected to be 6.4 Bcf today, and net Canadian imports are expected to be 5.7 Bcf today.

 

The storage outlook for the upcoming report is +25 Bcf today.
