Today’s Fundamentals
Daily US natural gas production is estimated to be 102 Bcf/d this morning. Today’s estimated production is -0.71 Bcf/d to yesterday, and -0.35 Bcf/d to the 7D average. Northeast production are still only ~34 Bcf/d. Typically Northeast production ramps up going into the winter, which means we could see an additional +1 Bcf/d from the region.
Natural gas consumption is modelled to be 74.6 Bcf today, -2.11 Bcf/d to yesterday, and -1.37 Bcf/d to the 7D average. US power burns are expected to be 30.2 Bcf today, and US ResComm usage is expected to be 14 Bcf.
Net LNG deliveries are expected to be 10.4 Bcf today. Sabine Pass feedgas levels resume over the weekend to almost reach 5 Bcf/d, but today early nomination are showing this facility once again dropping to below 4 Bcf/d.
Mexican exports are expected to be 6 Bcf today, and net Canadian imports are expected to be 5.2 Bcf today. The big drop in flow from Canada is the result of a nomination data suggesting flows onto GTN from AECO dropping by 0.6 Bcf/d today.
The storage outlook for the upcoming report is +130 Bcf today.
