Today’s Fundamentals

Daily US natural gas production is estimated to be  92.2 Bcf/d this morning. Today’s estimated production is -0.29 Bcf/d to yesterday, and -0.36 Bcf/d to the 7D average.

Natural gas consumption is modelled to be 69.3 Bcf today,  +3.51 Bcf/d to yesterday, and +0.57 Bcf/d to the 7D average. US power burns are expected to be 30.1 Bcf today, and US ResComm usage is expected to be 10.6 Bcf.

Mexican exports are expected to be 6.6 Bcf today, and net Canadian imports are expected to be 4.6 Bcf today.

Cove Point LNG looks to be back online today after 24 days. Maintenance at the facility takes place each year in late-Sept and typically lasts between 20 and 26 days. With it’s return, total LNG feedgas levels are 10.44 Bcf/d.

 

Freeport and Sabine volumes were lower today. With both those operating at max levels, we’d expect feedgas levels to reach 11.5+ Bcf/d.

 

 

 

The storage outlook for the upcoming report is +92 Bcf today.
