Weekly US ethanol production increased an as expected 4,000 barrels to 945,000 barrels, highest in a month.  Early September to date US ethanol production is running 5.5% below the same period a year ago but remember at this time of year US ethanol production fell to 537,000 barrels per day.  What was seen bullish was the decline of 711,000 barrels to US ethanol stocks to 19.736 (trade was looking for a 41,000 decline), lowest level since October 30, 2020.  US gasoline stocks increased 92,000 barrels to 235.1 million, highest since late February.  The ethanol blend rate into finished motor gasoline was 91.2%, up from 90.8% from the previous week.
