Deliveries the LNG facilities are off their lows from last week with Sabine taking 2.9 Bcf/d vs. the low of 2.0 Bcf/d seen late last week. Along with the increase in Sabine, deliveries to both Chorpus Christie moved higher today taking overall LNG deliveries to all plants to 6.3 Bcf/d today.
Kinder Morgan also announced the restart of two of the three units shut after a fire last month. Unit 3 began the restart process last Tuesday and Unit 1 was expected to begin the process at the end of last week. The volumes to Elba are generally quit low. Despite that the pipeline nomination data has confirmed the restart as the LNG facility is currently taking no gas volumes.
Today’s Fundamentals:
Daily US natural gas production is estimated to be 83.4 Bcf/d this morning. Today’s estimated production is -0.47 Bcf/d lower than yesterday, and +0.28 higher than the 7D average.
Natural gas consumption is modelled to be 60.4 Bcf today, +0.2 Bcf higher than yesterday and -0.95 Bcf lower than the 7D average. US power burns are expected to be 27.7 Bcf today, and US ResComm usage is expected to be 7.8 Bcf.
Net LNG deliveries are expected to be 6.3 Bcf/d today.
Mexican exports are 5.2 Bcf/d. Net Canadian imports dropped to 3.9 Bcf/d.
